Our story
The Diaspora App began in Dubai with a simple frustration — the best Nigerian rice, the sharpest Ghanaian barbers, and the most gifted Kenyan photographers were scattered across group chats, neighborhoods, and rumor.
We built the home they deserved. A single curated marketplace where authenticity is verified, communities discover each other, and every business owner keeps 100% of what they earn. No middlemen. No commissions on your kitchen, your chair, or your craft.
What we believe
- Discovery should feel premium. Every listing is treated like an editorial feature — full-bleed photography, clean typography, restraint over noise.
- Sellers keep what they earn. We charge for placement, never for transactions. Your customers come direct.
- Trust is non-negotiable. Every blue tick comes from a physical site visit. See how verification works →
- Local, but global. A jollof spot in Deira and a braider in Peckham deserve the same shelf.
Where we are right now
Dubai is our launch city. The first cohort of verified businesses are African and global diaspora kitchens, stylists, barbers, photographers, tailors, and event teams across Deira, Bur Dubai, Al Karama, Jumeirah, JLT, Marina, Downtown, and Business Bay. Other cities open as we onboard local editors and verified sellers — not before.
No vanity numbers, no fake badges. Every Verified tick comes from a physical visit. See how verification works →
Built by NDN Analytics
The Diaspora App is a product of NDN Analytics, a Dubai-based studio building consumer products for under-served global communities.
